These are just a few of the words that have been used over the last 2 hours to describe the late Steve Jobs, who sadly passed away yesterday.
Many words have already and indeed will be written and spoken about the legendary Apple founder who saw the future and led us all to it. His passion, determination, bravery and creativity will undoubtedly be an inspiration for generations to come.
Here are a just a few of the highlights from his illustrious past.

1976 – Steve Jobs and his friend Steve Wozniak started Apple in his parents’ garage and release the Apple  I – a computer without a keyboard or monitor

1977 – Apple II is released – the first mass market computer for public use
1983 – Apple Lisa is released – the first personal computer using a mouse to control on screen graphics
1984 – Apple launches the Macintosh , the first commercially successful personal computer
1986 – Jobs bought a little known computer graphics company from George Lucas and thereby founds what would become Pixar Animation Studios
1995 – Pixar releases Toy Story, the world’s first full length computer animated film
1998 – Apple launch the iMac – the colourful, self contained computer and monitor with the slogan “ Think different.”
2001 – Apple launch the iPod, thereby changing the music industry forever
2003 – The launch of iTunes sees Apple revolutionizing the online music market
2007 – Apple launch the iPhone, the multi-touch screen smartphone which has taken the telecoms industry by storm
2010 – The release of the iPad – giving users the service of a laptop with all the convenience of an iPod
