Startup of the Week – Webdoc

Having just this week won Music Techpitch 4.5, the showcase event for some of the latest European music-tech startups, our startup of this week , Webdoc, could not be more timely.

Webdoc is basically a “new way to interact online with the people in your life.”
 The idea is quite simple:

– You sign up for the service
– Create a new post or “webdoc” and then input and arrange any kind of media you want – anything from pictures, videos, music through to polls or even services like Google Maps and Twitter.
– Once created, your post can be shared via Social Media or to your selected group of friends, o you can embed it into your own site or blog. You can then encourage other people to interact and get involved.

Having been described as being like a “Digital Scrapbook”, Webdoc can literally be used by anyone who wants a richer way to connect. For musicians, for example, it provides a platform to allow them to connect and collaborate with their fans – sharing everything from pictures. video and audio content. Within the education sector it allows teachers and students to interact and collaborate on learning content. The possibilities literally are endless.
