Whilst many employers do tend to adopt the traditional approach in job interviews and ask fairly standard questions which you can prepare for, (as we outlined in

A lot of the questions above are actually skill testing and reasoning questions.
A popular question 12-14 years ago was: Which Hollywood film actor would play you in a movie of your life?
Clearly a self-perception/ego question. Very popular with HR in the 90s. I was asked it in every interview at one point.

– Can you tell a joke?
– On a scale of 1 to 10 how happy are you?
– What kind of people do you dislike?
– Which super power do you like to have and why?
– If you saw someone steal a tin of beans in Tesco, would you report it?
