Kick Campus aims to kickstart graduate careers..

Kick CampusTargeting the abundance of post-university students looking for work, Kick Campus, a startup itself, is aiming to run alternative careers fairs across the UK offering and highlighting the alternative careers and jobs within the start-up scene that Grads may not otherwise have heard of.

Launched recently in BETA, the Kick Campus jobs board will go live pretty soon and with their next jobs fair taking place at Warwick University in late October, TheEmployable thought it only ‘fair’ to highlight the basics of what it’s all about.

Competing against and in the same space as Silicon Jobs Roundabout and Work in Startups, there’s plenty of room left to exploit the growing need for Startups to find the right Grads that cut the mustard in the startup world.

The Kick Campus guys shared this with TheEmployable in our bid to find out a little more.

“Do you want to work in a fun, stimulating environment where you can actually see the outcome of your work and how it impacts on the company on a daily basis? Do you want to work with people at the high point of the business and technology worlds? Do you want to work in a team small enough to know everyone within it? Startups are the answer!

Kick Campus are here to encourage students to work where you love, not where you’re meant to. We want students to look away from the traditional graduate routes and instead consider working for startups (for info on what a startup is, go here).

We’re building a network of exciting and growing businesses who need fabulous bright employees like you guys. Whether you’ve heard of startups before or not, we’re here to tell you that working for one of these small businesses can be a brilliant career option and that they are desperate for brilliant employees to fill them.

We connect students with startups through a combination of offline careers fairs and online content and job listings.”

Head to our website to sign up to be first in line to hear about brilliant job opportunities and make sure to find us on Twitter and Facebook too!”

Cheers Kick Campus and we look forward to seeing how your business develops and the career opportunities your careers fairs produce.
