10 Motivational Quotes for Job Seekers

For all job seekers, but especially those who have been unemployed for a long time, motivation can be in short supply.

Whether it’s through repeated rejection, or simply frustration at the situation in which you find yourself, the status of ‘job seeker’ is one which can zap the energy from you and leave you feeling pretty rotten.  We call this ‘the job search blues’ , and as anyone who has ever been in this situation will tell you, it can have a truly devastating effect on your ability to find work.

A vicious cycle can begin to develop, as negative feelings breed inactivity, lack of motivation, low self confidence and a reduced ability to do all the things that are so crucial for the average job seeker.

There are lots of things that you can do to help break yourself out of this cycle and one of the best places to start is to try and reignite your motivation. This is where clever, witty and inspiring motivational quotes can help get the ball rolling.

(We’re not saying that these motivational quotes are in any way the solution to the problems that we have discussed, but they can certainly give you a fresh perspective on the situation).
