How to job hunt – on the go!

Know where to look

Any website that’s worth its salt has a mobile site now, and it’s time to take advantage of that. Sites like Indeed and Monster are all compatible on mobile and they’re incredibly simple to navigate on smart platforms like a tablet or even a phone. If you want to make things really easy, it’s time to download some apps. Many job sites have their own smart application now and the vast majority are free to download. Apps will usually synchronise with other applications such as your email to make applying easier than ever.

It’s highly advisable to download an app that will allow you to either store your CV on the device or access it through a cloud system so you never have to be without access to the document. You need never find yourself without the ability to apply for a job again through lack of the document – finding the right software could not be easier, and for those with an Apple device, simply ensure that you have it uploaded to the iCloud.
