If languages are your thing, LiveMocha is a good option. It claims to be the world’s largest language learning community, combining learning with a social networking element. This site offers a range of free computer courses and tutorials, aimed at beginners. Subjects include MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint as well as Basic Web Design.  Courses, tests and certificates upon completion are all free. Click here for more details.
